SPRING-LOADED HINGES
A spring hinge closes the door without the help of other mechanisms. These hinges were originally designed for fireproof doors, but can be used in various kinds of applications in which a door needs to close or open automatically - for example, safety gates.
In some models, the spring tension can be adjusted after installation, and in others the adjustments are made during the assembly at the factory and can not be changed afterwards. Some models allow for the door to be lifted off after installation. Please check model specific details on the product page and/or in the downloadable pdf data card.
The material options are steel, stainless steel AISI304 or acid resistant steel AISI316 - see also finishing options on product pages.
Our own products are manufactured at our factory in Tampere, Finland, and we have the right to use the Key Flag Symbol. If the hinge in question has been made by another manufacturer, it is mentioned in the product description. Most of the hinges in our selection, however, are our own products.
